P E T I T E  MELLER 

 ​is ​a Singer, Songwriter, philosopher and composer.

Her signature blush and hand bandage represents the purpose of her music - to heal and overcome.

The music draws on a range of influences and genres spanning "Nouveau Jazzy Pop” and "Social pop” Her music was compared to electronic Paul Simon's "Graceland" and a Bowish Nikka Costa. 

In her work and in interviews, Petite often references philosophy, as she mastered degree in philosophy from the Sorbonne.


Her videos and musical style are fully immerse in the places she travels to in order to create her videos, where she finds her cast, customise and set her sound. 
From Kenya to Mongolia to Senegal, mostly sourced from philosophy and old cinema homage to Hitchcock, Tarkovsky and Antonioni.

 

Petite Meller debut album ​"Lil Empire” was released ​in 2017 by ​Island Records UK and contained the hit "Baby Love” which reached #1 in Italy and #30 the UK.

”Baby Love" was written for "the Girls of Africa" that was kidnapped in Nigeria by Boko Haram and it’s video has gained over 11 million views on YouTube.

 

In 2017 Petite was Nominated to EMA’S as Best New Artist for the song "The Flute” and recorded

a version of "Sunday Morning" with the singer ​Børns​.
